Furnace Cleaning

Using high-powered air pressure, we clean all major heating components, including burners and heat exchanger. We air wash the blower motor and the inducers motor to improve draft and air flow. Depending upon the build up and the type of unit, the blower may need to be removed and cleaned at an additional charge. Oil burning and sooted units are addition; price may very upon situation. We will also do a free inspection on the furnace flu line, the hot water heating components, and the exhaust system. Depending upon airflow and functionality of the unit, we may need to inspect and clean the evaporation-cooling coil (A coil).

Procedure is performed using the following steps:

  1. The furnace panels are removed making the entire unit accessible
  2. Clean through heat exchanger and burners using high-pressure air and portable vacuum system
  3. Depending upon unit, the inducer motor is cleaned using the air wash system from the top furnace flu access point
  4. The blower motor in a standard cleaning is air washed through all fan blades and motor access. Depending upon the build up of the system, the blower may need to be removed and cleaned with a far more intensive procedure.
  5. A thorough examination of the furnace flu, hot water heating components and cooling coil is done by the senior technician
  6. After completion of service, the furnace is run and cycled; then reassembled. The technician will clean the entire work area and make sure all accessories are put back into their original place, as well as address any further questions the customer may have.

Should allow 30-90 min for complete cleaning
