    All Service Rescue use flex rods and a series of brushes that we run from the interior of the home up the chimney, getting all the soot and creosote build up through the entire chimney. We also use a high-powered vacuum to clean out all the soot and ash buildup in the firebox. NO FIRES 24 HRS prior to cleaning … all work area is protected by tarps to insure a clean service area. There is an addition fee for animal removal and ash pit cleaning. Fireplace and furnace flu caps are installed and furnished upon request within seven business days.

Procedure is performed using the following steps:

1. Tarps are placed in service area to protect flooring, carpeting, and trim work
2. The hearth of the chimney is cleaned; all soot and ashes are sucked out using high-powered portable vacuum
3. Attaching chimney rods, which are brushed up through the entire length of the chimney
4. After the chimney is thoroughly brushed and cleaned, the hearth of the fireplace is vacuumed clean of all debris
5. Following the completion of the service the technician makes sure the work area is neat and clean with all accessories back in there original place; as well as addressing any further questions the customer may have.
